Games in bold on this list are not playable on Xbox One in any form. Unofficial internal “knock-off” hard drives exist, but generally don’t have the partition for original Xbox games, rendering those older games unplayable, and may not be recognized as valid for games requiring an official internal Microsoft hard drive (see list further below). The largest official internal Xbox 360 hard drive is 500 gigs, although external USB storage of up to 2 terabytes is also supported. Individual digital game size maxes out at 7.8 gigs for games which were originally single discs, but may be increased via patches, free compatibility packs, and DLC. Digital 360 games require a storage medium of at least 8-16 gigs depending on the game.
